JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Collaborative Children’s Solutions (CCS) and its television station, CCS-TV, have donated $580 to the Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown.
The contribution came from a season-long promotion tied to CCS-TV’s live coverage of Jamestown Tarp Skunks home games during the 2025 season. The station pledged $10 for every extra-base hit recorded at Diethrick Park, with the total reaching $580.
Patrick Smeraldo, president of CCS, said the gift was meant to support an organization that has served local youth for generations.
“The board of directors, administrators, and staff at the Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown have served as a community jewel in Jamestown, providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for over 85 years,” Smeraldo said. “This tiny donation is the least we can do to assist them with any gaps in funding they may face.”
The Boys & Girls Club has long been a cornerstone for youth development in Jamestown, offering programs that promote education, recreation and community engagement.
Collaborative Children’s Solutions works year-round to create and manage community events and programs that benefit children and families across Chautauqua County. Through CCS-TV, the organization also produces live event coverage and special programming while providing students hands-on experience in broadcasting. In partnership with Lilly Broadcasting and Erie News Now, CCS-TV introduces young people to journalism and media careers as part of its workforce development efforts.
