JAMESTOWN, NY – Collaborative Children’s Solutions (CCS) is proud to announce the expansion of its partnership with Harrison’s Playmakers, bringing a lineup of exciting new events to the community. With a shared commitment to enriching the lives of children, this collaboration is set to bring joy and unforgettable experiences to families across Chautauqua County.

Under the leadership of Owner Patrick Smeraldo, CCS has already demonstrated its dedication to the community through its involvement in key events such as the downtown Jamestown Christmas parade, the Labor Day Festival, and the Turning of the Chadakoin River Green on St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Additionally, CCS has spearheaded its own initiatives, including the beloved Christmas in July celebrations and the revival of the Gus Macker 3 on 3 basketball tournament.

Now, with the generous support of signature sponsor Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union and the backing of Harrison’s Playmakers, CCS is thrilled to introduce a series of new events designed to foster community engagement and inclusivity.

Christmas in July with the Tarp Skunks
Date: Friday, July 26
Venue: Diethrick Park

Join us for an unforgettable evening of baseball and family fun as CCS partners with the Jamestown Tarp Skunks. The event will feature exciting games, giveaways, character appearances, and a spectacular fireworks show. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, admission is free for all attendees. Families can also enjoy a dedicated sensory zone for a comfortable experience.

Inaugural Gus Macker 3 on 3 Unified Division
Date: Saturday, August 10

The Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament returns to Jamestown, with Harrison’s Playmakers sponsoring the inaugural mixed Unified Division. Boys and girls aged 14-18 are invited to form mixed four-person teams and participate in this thrilling event. Anthony Senske Sensory Friendly Halloween Spooktacular

In honor of Anthony Senske, a beloved member of Harrison’s Playmakers and the community, CCS and Harrison’s Playmakers will host a sensory-friendly Halloween Spooktacular party. This event provides an inclusive space for families to enjoy trick-or-treating and Halloween festivities in a safe and welcoming environment.

Smeraldo expressed his enthusiasm for these new initiatives, emphasizing the importance of creating inclusive opportunities for all children.
