JAMESTOWN, NY (CCS-TV) — CHQ Transit is set to launch new tourism routes, promising an enriched experience for both locals and tourists. This initiative is part of CHQ Transit’s modernization efforts, featuring state-of-the-art buses and hybrid trolleys funded by grants from the New York State Department of Transportation.
Operating on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the new routes will showcase the best of Chautauqua County. The South County routes will highlight attractions such as Jamestown, Bemus Point, Midway State Park, Southern Tier Brewery, Ashville General Store, and Panama Rocks.
In the North County, the routes will guide visitors through scenic wineries and lakefront destinations, including Dunkirk Pier, Fredonia Barker Commons, and several renowned wineries.
Additionally, these trolleys are available for private rentals, making them perfect for events like bridal parties and business outings.
With these new tourism routes, CHQ Transit is not only enhancing public transportation but also promoting the rich cultural and natural attractions of Chautauqua County.
