JAMESTOWN, NY – CCS-TV will be the exclusive television broadcast home of the Jamestown Tarp Skunks’ 2025 games, thanks to an exciting new partnership with the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame (CSHOF).
This collaboration builds on the success of last summer’s Christmas in July broadcast and unites three organizations: Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, Collaborative Childrens Solutions Television (CCS-TV) and the Jamestown Tarp Skunks.
“The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame is excited to partner with Collaborative Children’s Solutions and the Jamestown Tarp Skunks to provide live-streaming of all 2025 Tarp Skunks home baseball games on CCS-TV,” said Randy Anderson, President of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame. “The CSHOF is a huge fan of the product Tarp Skunks General Manager Christian Dolce and his team provides to the sports fans of our community. Likewise, we are tremendously impressed by the broadcasting experiences that Patrick Smeraldo and his crew at CCS are providing for the youth of the area. When we were given the opportunity to work with both of those exceptional organizations to have students broadcast baseball games to the worldwide internet audience, we jumped at the chance to facilitate the collaboration.”
CCS-TV’s partnership with the Tarp Skunks builds directly on last summer’s Christmas in July broadcast, which was a standout success. Students took center stage, eagerly participating in all aspects of production, from announcing to technical operations, and captivated a growing audience. The overwhelmingly positive response energized CCS-TV to expand this initiative, providing even more opportunities for students to develop hands-on skills and showcase their talents to a global audience in 2025.
“This partnership is a game-changer for CCS-TV and our student broadcasters. We’re proud to collaborate with the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame and the Jamestown Tarp Skunks to deliver top-notch sports programming to our viewers while empowering the next generation of broadcasters,” said Patrick Smeraldo, CCS-TV Owner. “Our mission is not just about sports entertainment; it’s about education and community engagement. The opportunity to pair student broadcasters with seasoned professionals allows young people to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-quality production while giving businesses a chance to support both youth and local sports.”
This season, viewers can expect an enhanced broadcast experience under CCS Sports branding. The production will feature dynamic commentary from veteran announcers paired with fresh perspectives from aspiring student broadcasters. With CCS-TV mentors guiding a talented student crew behind the scenes, audiences will enjoy a polished and professional broadcast that highlights the energy and dedication of the next generation of media professionals.
Collaborative Children’s Solutions Television is proud to expand its partnership with the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame beyond broadcasting the baseball games. This collaboration also includes exclusive coverage of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquets in February, as well as year-round features that celebrate and preserve Chautauqua County’s rich sports history. We are deeply grateful for the Hall of Fame’s sponsorship and shared commitment to showcasing the achievements and stories that inspire our community.
Since launching in December 2023, the reach of CCS-TV’s platform continues to grow, with this year’s programming drawing over 90,000 viewers across Roku, YouTube, Facebook, the CCS-TV mobile apps, and CCS-TV.com. With the anticipation of even larger audiences in 2025, CCS-TV is offering advertising packages that present a unique opportunity for local businesses. Supporting CCS-TV broadcasts is not only a smart marketing investment, but also, an investment in today’s youth and tomorrow’s broadcasters.
