JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — CCS-TV will bring viewers a special live broadcast of Jamestown’s annual Shamrock Splash celebration on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The event, which features the tradition of turning the Chadakoin River green, will take place along the Riverwalk near Jamestown Area Medical Associates in Jamestown, New York.
Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with music and family-friendly activities along the river. At 11 a.m., a lucky leprechaun will perform the magical moment when the river is turned green, marking one of the community’s most festive St. Patrick’s season traditions.
The celebration is presented by the City of Jamestown Parks, Recreation & Conservation Department in collaboration with Collaborative Children’s Solutions.
CCS-TV will stream the river-turning live beginning at 11 a.m. across all CCS-TV platforms, including Roku, YouTube, Facebook, CCS-TV Mobile App (iOS & Android) and CCS-TV.com. The broadcast will also air on ENN Plus through CCS-TV’s partnership with Lilly Broadcasting.
Community members attending the event are encouraged to wear green and dress appropriately for the weather.
